Born 16 days before 1990, I grew up enjoying a golden age of traditional animation, and the birth of feature CG animation. Some of my inspirations include: A Bugs Life, Tarzan, Titan AE, and Treasure Planet. At that point I had been eight years old, and decided that animation was the world that I belonged in. Throughout my life I've always had a passion for drawing and loved the idea of bringing my artwork to life.
In the year 2008, I began attending Villa Maria College in the first class of their Animation Program. Without any upper class-men, I’ve relied on myself and fellow classmates of the same level, to find innovative ways of handling projects. This unique environment nurtured not only a strong need for collaboration and independent knowledge, but also provided opportunity for originality and outside-of-the-box thinking.
During college, I worked as a lab monitor in the animation computer lab. Because I enjoyed helping underclassmen at Villa Maria, I applied to be a Teacher's Assistant at Harvard, through the New York Film Academy. After getting hired, I worked for two summers as an Animation TA, helping instruct an introductory level animation course to international adult and young adult students.
